Hey thanks :) I think it would be considering like, “women aren’t funny” isn’t exactly a popular opinion anymore even though it gets said with great frequency in the last year even.
Yeah. that’s not a popular opinion and now we are in that slow slog where women slowly claw their way in to places of comedy power. And people who are uncomfortable saying “women aren’t funny” are forced to say it under their breath.
Maybe with a format change of online comedy special distribution women will be able to break in? Though to be honest the only people who I know to have done online distribution are male comedians with a fairly successful fan base.
